Amidst bad weather conditions, in an unsuitable pitch and against the purely defensive-minded Veria lurking for some chance to counter-attack, the Legend left with a 0-2 win for Super League MD21! Our side’s scorers were Mitroglou and Dossevi, so the Piraeus outfit stands now top of the table with a +5 lead over the second club!
Once again, it was our exceptional and “flying” Kostas Fortounis who set up his namesake, Kostas Mitroglou; the latter did what he knows best! He gave Olympiacos the lead just after 70 minutes of play. In 87’, it was Dossevi, following an excellent Elabdellaoui run and pass, who turned it into the final0-2!
