Although our side conceded a really early goal, Olympiacos proved in Livadia what it means to be a champion and a winner!
The match kicked off in the worst possible way for our side that were totally taken by surprise following a quick goal by Levadiakos. From the very first minutes of the second half, the Olympiacos players played an offensive game and were trying to score an immediate goal that would tie the match. However, Afellay’s mood in combination with his tremendous quality led to 1-1 in approximately the 75th minute!
The Dutch made the difference for Olympiacos and helped our side turn the tables on their opponent, when Mitroglou scored the second goal for the team during injury time.
