OLYMPIACOS FC and its President Mr. Marinakis continues to actively support all UNICEF action. So, members of Olympiacos family attended the official presentation of the UNICEF-run TV Marathon against poverty and children malnutrition.
During a beautiful ceremony that featured a Press Conference at the Grand Bretagne Hotel, UNICEF’s TV Marathon of Love, to be held on Monday December 8th, was presented. UNICEF’s TV Marathon is celebrating its 26th anniversary; 26 years of solidarity and offering to all children in need of love and care.
Olympiacos partnership with UNICEF is strong and our club’s contribution in all efforts by this organization remains stable.
Amongst others, a significant UNICEF initiative entitled “IMAGINE” was presented for raising awareness amongst the public on childhood’s major challenges. UNICEF Greece, an organization bringing together millions of people, will participate in this campaign in order to increase awareness and resources dedicated to the rights of children worldwide.
Olympiacos will participate in the TV Marathon of Love to be held on Monday December 8th; our players will give away signed balls and shirts. The TV Marathon will start at 7 pm on Monday and will go on until early next morning.
This year, UNICEF Greece is standing next to the former PIKPA organization and the MITERA Children’s Hospital, and tries to help them in their difficult and arduous tasks.
