When life gives you a hard time, there is only one way: You have to try and persist! The story of the young Grigoris, a boy with special abilities, who comes from Toronto, Canada, is a moving one as the boy is an example of persistence and everyday “battle” for survival. The young boy lived an once-in-a-lifetime experience this Wednesday!
A unique experience both for him and his parents who escorted him in the KIA Training Ground of Toronto FC! It was there that the whole family met the players and the technical staff of the Legend! They met with Mr Michel, Christian Karembeu and Pierre Issa, whereas several players, such as Eric Abidal, Andreas Samaris (whom the young Grigoris adores!), Roberto, Giannis Maniatis, David Fuster and Dimitris Kolovos, took pictures with the young Grigoris, signed autographs for him and generously gave him unique moments!
Samaris offered the young boy a dedicated signed shirt, whereas his father Achilleas and his mother Dimitra were also offered a dedicated shirt and scarfs featuring the 4 stars of our Olympiacos!
The whole family was able to attend the training session in the KIA Training Ground, the training facility of Toronto FC, where the Legend trained on Wednesday afternoon.
“The power of love can achieve many things. Olympiacos showed today what this love means. They gave us immense joy and we deeply thank the Club for this! For all of us and mostly for our Grigoris who was dreaming of watching the Legend live! And this dream came true today. I wish Olympiacos to keep growing and to climb the ladder to greatness in leaps, as we do every day,” said the father of Grigoris on Olympiacos TV.
The whole family will attend the match against Milan in BMO Field on Thursday evening (20:00 local time and 03:00 Greece time)!
