The Legend had a 4-2-3-1 formation and presented the following starting XI: Roberto was the goalkeeper. In defense, from right to left, featured Torres, Manolas, Marcano and Bong. The center midfield was taken on by Maniatis and N’Dinga, with “Chori” placed ahead of them. At the wings, Campbell was on the right and Perez on the left, however they kept on changing sides during the match. Finally, Valdez was the side’s striker.
Right after kick-off, Olympiacos launched attacks in waves. Gomez had to intervene several times in order to stop the Legend’s players, but the decisive goal was registered in 88’.
Following a corner kick, Saviola connected and by means of a close-range touch from inside the box, netted it home for 1-0, which helped our side complete this year’s domestic campaign with an additional victory!
