Roberto was the goalkeeper. In defense featured Miguel Torres, Cholevas, Avraam and Papazoglou. Maniatis and Samaris were the midfielders, with Campbell and Perez at the wings. Dominguez played deep behind our side’s sole forward, Nelson Valdez.
Olympiacos started early enough to build up the pressure and had ball possession. Finallyu, it was Valdez who scored the opener in 35’ with a fantastic tap-in.
After the break, nothing changed and Olympiacos kept holding the upper hand in the match. Final 2-0 was scored by Fuster’s penalty kick, awarded to Campbell.
