Our club’s President Mr Vaggelis Marinakis and the players took a very important initiative. They decided to donate a substantial amount of money out of the players’ bonuses in order to financially support the residents of border island of Pserimos, as well as those of Kalimnos, who were affected by November’s terrible floods.
A team delegation visited firstly Kalimnos on Friday and then Pserimos to present the sum to those hit by the floods, and what a warm welcome it has received!
Our delegation visited the Kalimnos Gate 7 club, whereas took a close look to the disaster caused by the floods and the struggle of the Pserimos residents to return back to normal life under really hard circumstances; this visit helped better realize the need for solidarity and support to the people in need .
