Our Legend entered 2014 in a very positive manner.
Roberto was at the goal, with Salino, Papadopoulos, Manolas and Bong (right to left) in defense. Maniatis and Samaris were our center midfielders, with Dominguez linking the midfield with our attack. In the wings, Campbell took on the right side and Fuster the left, whereas Saviola was fielded atop the attack.
As early as in 12′, our side managed to score. Following some great teamwork, Dominguez laid it in for Saviola to convert for 1-0!.
Olympiacos made it 2-0 in 54′! Salino passed to Dominguez who tapped it in and doubled our side’s advantage.
In 64′ Dominguez created the scene once again for the third one! He took on the corner kick only to meet Manolas inside the box; the Greek stopper controlled it and fired home for 3-0.
In 75′, Machado made it 4-0 following a Weiss through-pass.
The 4-0 score remained until the end, earning our Legend with a neat start for both the new year and the second part of its domestic campaign!
