Roberto was the goalkeeper, with Salino, Bong, Cholevas, Manolas and Siovas in defense. Samaris and Maniatis took on the midfield, with Fuster atop of them. Cholevas and Campbell were the wingers, whereas Mitroglou was our forward.
The match did not kick off well for our side. The French side made a strong entrance, took possession from early on and managed to score in seven minutes with Ibrahimovic.
Our side tried swiftly to bring balance on the pitch and mainly to “overhaul” its left side, where the opening goal originally came from.
In 33ʼ Mitroglou took the feed from Cholevas and found enough space to launch a strike from inside the box, just to see Sirigu making the save to his right corner!
The second half boded better for our Legend. Marco Verratti received a second yellow card and headed for the dressing rooms as early as in 47ʼ.
PSG was now looking to safeguard the 1-0 lead and tried to build some threatening counter-attacks. Olympiacos kept on adding more pressure and finally Kostas Manolas leveled the match in 80’ after a Cholevas corner kick.
Our players sought to score the second, but in 90` Kavani stormed forward at the back of our defense, following a pass by sub Rabiot, and netted it past Roberto for the final 2-1.
