Olympiacos outplayed Panathinaikos in Leoforos and reasonably enough registered a 1-0 win for MD 10 derby match.
Roberto was the goalkeeper, with Salino (right), Cholevas (L), Manolas and Siovas in defense. Samaris was the defensive midfielder, whereas Maniatis hold the centre with Fuster and Campbell at the wings. Saviola and Mitroglou took on the attack.
The first 30 minutes were spent with Olympiacos on top of the match. Panathinaikos had great difficulty in keeping possession due to pressure exercised by Olympiacos.
The match was going by goalless and many thought that would be the final score. However, Kostas Mitroglou had different things in mind and he was to express them loudly before the final whistle!
The Greek striker fired past Kapino from inside the box and brought the match to an end fitting to the overall performance of both sides during the 90 minutes: 0-1 in favor of Olympiacos!
