Olympiacos charities continue during this Eastern holy days. Since Holy Week’s first day, the club of “red-and-whites” called upon those in need offering assistance where it was most required.
Olympiacos President Mr Vaggelis Marinakis both desires and intents to see Olympiacos FC essentially supporting all efforts undertaken for the good of our fellow people; for that reason, our team actively participates in Nikaia Cathedral Church’s charity work of love.
On Good Monday morning, Olympiacos was present at the local Culture Centre where food, toys and gifts were distributed to the families in need. Part of those offerings has been provided by Olympiacos FC, as did in the past and will keep on doing. More than 2,500 families stand under the protection of Nikaia Cathedral Church.
Reverend Archpriest of Nikaia Alexios spoke very warmly about this action by Olympiacos FC, and particularly thanked President Vaggelis Marinakis and wished him lots of success for the team, ahead of the Greek Cup final.
