Megyeri was protecting the goal. In defense, we had Papazoglou, Cholevas, Manolas and Contreras. Fejsa was placed in front of the centre defense, with Maniatis and Machado ahead of him. Vlachodimos, Abdoun and Djebbour manned the offensive line.
Olympiacos stormed in from the beginning, aiming at pressing on PAOK and taking an early lead.
Our side took control of the match and, until the very first call of the referee, our players were getting first on the ball and winning all charges.
In the second half, Olympiacos speeded things up a notch and tried to increase pressure on PAOK’s goal.
As time passed by, PAOK would fall back and take care of their defense, yet our side failed to score, despite its chances, and finally conceded a no score draw.
