Carroll was in the goal. Torosidis was the right wing-back, Cholevas the left wing-back, while Siovas and Manolas were the central defenders “duo”. Modesto, Maniatis and Ibagaza were in the midfield. At the flanks, Abdoun took over the left, Fuster from the right, while Rafik Djebbour played at the top of the offensive line.
In 17’, Spyropoulos launched a deep forward pass from the left; Mavrias received the ball behind Cholevas and drove it in Carroll’s net with a shot.
Our side fought back really quickly! In 22’, Abdoun came out from the left and turned the ball to the penalty box, right where Rafik Djebbour managed to tap it in marking 1-1!
Our squad kept putting pressure on the opponents and in 34′, they managed to take the lead. Fuster executed a corner kick and Rafik Djebbour took the header, marking 1-2.
In 67′, Mavrias came out from the right, dribbled past Cholevas and turned the ball to the penalty area, where Toche took an inside kick and scored.
In 74’, Fuster found himself inside the area and took a shot, but Karnezis cleared it. A few minutes later, the same player missed the opportunity to mark 2-3 when, from inside the penalty box, he launched a shot but the ball hit the bodies of the defenders!
Nothing changed during the last minutes of the encounter and this 2-2 was the final result.
