Two groups of players represented our team while visiting the “Love and Care” foundation for kids with special needs as well as the “Alphington College” where hundreds of Greeks attend.
During these visits, Greek and Australian fans had the opportunity to show our team their appreciation as well as to get autographs and make pictures with our footballers.
In the afternoon (17.00), Olympiacos had their last practice at Melbourne stadium, prior to tomorrow’s friendly against Melbourne Victory (19.30 local time – 12.30 Greek time).
Following practice, approximately 400 people from the Greek community, who visited the stadium in order to watch our players from up-close, had the chance to meet the players and the coaching staff and spend some time with them.
It was unique and moving to see the Greeks who live in Melbourne cheer for the squad proving that their love for Olympiacos knows no boundaries.
