In a joyful mood all those travelling to Melbourne checked in and boarded the airplane that will take them to their destination via Dubai. The reason of the trip is the friendly match that has been scheduled to take place on May 19 against Melbourne Victory.

Minutes before the departure of OLYMPIACOS, Northern Irish goalkeeper Roy Carroll talked to the press and stressed once again the significance of the trip both for our team and for the Greek community in Australia.
“I‘ve never taken such a long trip before; it’s my first time in Australia though I had travelled to Taiwan with the national team. This match will be a nice opportunity for the Greek community to watch their beloved team play. I hope that this will give joy to all Greeks there. I’ve been informed that many Olympiacos fans will attend and this is proof of the greatness of this club” said Carroll.
