“Everything was so beautiful today, the fans were really entertained and I am most happy about that. I would like to dedicate this season’s campaign, as well as the titles we won, to the fans who are here tonight, and also to the ones who are not, but have followed us around throughout the season. I really hope they enjoyed this day as much as we did.”
When asked about the possibility to come back to OLYMPIACOS one day, Valverde said: “I couldn’t say that at the moment but it is true that it’s going to be hard for me to let go of everything I’ve experienced here.”
