“We made a great defensive performance today. That is, of course, the result of good cooperation between the players, as a whole. O.F.I. was a tough opponent but they did not create any clear chances to score a goal. This is what led us to qualification.
Returning to “Genti Koule” was a very pleasant experience for me. I was given the opportunity to meet my friends in O.F.I. again, as well as the supporters, who created a magnificent atmosphere during the game. It all happened very fast during the transfer period and before I joined Olympiacos I did not get the chance to say goodbye to them. I would like to express my gratitude for the way the people of O.F.I. treated me while I was a part of their team.
Being able to keep a clean sheet is something very good but it’s not just because of me. The whole team, both starting players as well as the substitutes, play a part in it. We have worked hard on this aspect of our game and these are the results of teamwork.”

“I believe the difference of capacity between the two teams was obvious in the first match. At home we pressured our opponent, but scored only once. We came across some difficulties here, today, as O.F.I. played quite defensively.
I do not know for sure if our defense is our “weapon” but the truth is that from a certain point on, during the season, we did not concede goals. Good defense certainly played a part in that.
It is quite early to talk about whether I will remain on the team next year, or not. There’s still time and no decision has been reached yet.”
