“I’m sure all of us wanted to watch a football match, between 22 players, played on the pitch. What happened on the stands was not good for Hellenic Football. None of the clubs need fans who act like that. At some point it will have to end. The match was important for both teams and our aim was to impose our pace from the beginning. The game was not of great quality, but we managed to control the pace from the very start. Under such circumstances, though, it is not easy to play football. Even Panathinaikos condemns these clashes. We would all like for these incidents to stop and for everyone to keep their minds solely on football. At some point, if the laws are applied, as they should be, there will be a solution and those who provoke the clashes will be kept off stadiums.
It is most certain that this result is a step closer to the domestic title and we must keep up the pace, our feet on the ground and show improvement, in order to end the Championship well. This is all that remains in the end.”

“It was a good result. I don’t exactly know what happened here tonight. Olympiacos tried to achieve as much as possible on the pitch and that’s the only thing I will speak about. We will now focus on our next game. The championship isn’t over yet and we should wait and see what happens in the end.”
