During his visit, Rafik spoke to the press:
About the game against O.F.I.: “O.F.I. is one very tough team to beat. We have played against them before at home so we know how difficult of an opponent they are and what a good defensive line they have. I would have liked to be able to play in this game with my team but I got a card and so will not be able to participate. However, Olympiacos has some great quality players who can win every game and if we keep focused we will have no problems”.
About the upcoming heavy schedule of Olympiacos: “I think that we are used to dealing with a heavy schedule by now. Before, it was the Champions League, then it was a loaded February and now it’s March. We should concentrate on every game separately and play as we know how in order to win.”
About the fans who support the team and himself: “It’s a great pleasure seeing them support us like that both here as well as in the stadium. It makes me really happy and their support is very important to me.”
About which title seems more intriguing: “I think it is always interesting to win the Championship. I was happy to win it last year but the truth is that I have a great appetite and I want to win everything; everything there is to be won, I want it!”
