Vice Presinde Yiannis Moralis said: “Olympiacos always shows great interest in social and charity actions. It’s something we always did. The country is currently going through some very difficult times and thus our efforts have been more intense. Our fellow citizens are in need of our help and we are trying to offer it to them as often as we can.
We musn’t limit ourselves to offering pleasure through victories and championship titles but also help and assist people who need us, especially kids. In the future, more such actions will take place from our part.”
Olympiacos football player Avraam Papadopoulos added: “Our club has proved many times before that it supports such events. We have come here today to offer help. It is the least we could do as human beings and as athletes. Individually we will always stand by the side of people who need us in order to be of as much service as possible. I wish a Happy New Year to everyone filled with health, above all.”
