At 30 minutes the referee granted a penalty to Abdoun and Pantelic took the shot, netting the ball and giving Olympiacos the lead. The home team reacted fast and Eleftheriadis equalized the game at 35’ minutes but Pantelic scored again a few minutes before halftime (45+1΄).
In the second half, Olympiacos played even better and Abdoun materialized the team’s efforts into a third goal netted at 70 minutes. This was practically the moment which sealed the qualification for Olympiacos.
