OLYMPIACOS FC – P.A.O.K. 2-1

One more victory for OLYMPIACOS FC who, after their wonderful performance against Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday, found the physical strength to overcome one more obstacle on their way to winning the Hellenic Championship title.

In the match against P.A.O.K., which took place at the “G. Karaiskakis” stadium on Sunday, October 2 (Superleague MD 5), the home team played simple and fast, pressuring hard their opponents’ middle and defensive lines -especially in the first half- thus managing to turn the game around (0-1 to 2-1).

Balafas scored the opener at 24 minutes for the visitors but Olympiacos netted two goals with Fuster (35΄) and Djebbour (42΄) prior to half time; score which proved to be the final one, although the reds could have netted many more goals.
