Following your participation in the Premier League, what is your opinion about Arsenal, Olympiacos’s next opponent in the 2011-2012 UEFA Champions League (Group F, MD 2)?
“I am friends with Cameroonian player Alex Song, who is like a little brother to me and with whom I speak every day, therefore I have a pretty good idea of the team. Further than that, we all know that Arsenal is a great squad that has always played good football and although they haven’t had a good start this year, they always remain great.
On the other hand, I think that Olympiacos has a wonderful team which can be very competitive against European clubs and capable of facing teams like Arsenal. I believe that in this game in London, we will be in better shape than in the first match against Marseille and we will make their lives difficult in order to get a good result out of the match. In other words, we will play our own game. Generally, group F is a tough group but we will struggle to the end.
It is true that many players have left Arsenal this season but that does not mean that they are no longer a great club. In my opinion, they still have great players. Let’s not forget that they also have a wonderful manager who can always bring them back on track as he has some players with great qualities to work with.”
