This was definitely a… legendary tour followed by a… legendary presence. Olympiacos looked the top-flight European football clubs in the eye during the International Champions Cup and gained their respect.
The imperious 3-0 win against Milan, the exceptional display against Liverpool despite the defeat, and the win against the Premier League Champions Manchester City on penalties proved that the Legend keep growing and have deservingly won a place among the football elite.
Our footballers played spectacular football during their tour in Canada and in the States and made their mark; this is proven by the fact that the top FOX Sports network included a… legendary goal among the top 5 goals of this year’s tournament.
We are of course referring to the amazing goal scored by Andreas Bouchalakis in the match against Milan. The young ace footballer added the final touch in the 78th minute, making the score 3-0, with a superb long-range bullet from 35-40 metres that soared past Agazzi.
The goal scored by our player was ranked in the 4th place of the list with the top goals of this year’s competition. The list also features the goals scored by Miralem Pjanic in the Manchester United – Roma match (1); Gareth Bale in the Inter – Real Madrid match (2); Wayne Rooney in the Manchester United – Roma match (3); and Stevan Jovetic in the Milan – Manchester City match (5).
