Roberto was the goalkeeper, with Salino defending on the right and Cholevas on the left. Manolas and Siovas were our stoppers. Samaris and Maniatis were holding the midfield, with Fuster and Campbell at the wings. Saviola was the all-around forward and Mitroglou our striker.
In 36′ Campbell charged from the right channel, right on the sideline, and delivered the crossing that Mitroglou with a one-touch tap managed to convert past Jacobo for the lead, 1-0, setting the stadium on fire!
In 60′ Campbell carried the ball from the left, dribbled his opponents and launched an original shot deflected on Katsikas. On the rebound, Campbell received the ball only to feed Saviola who –properly positioned- tapped it in from close range leaving Jacobo unable to react.
In 74ʼ, following a corner kick by Cholevas, David Fuster connected perfectly and headed it straight in the net for 3-0!
Splendind Joel Campbell in 80′ turned it 4-0 by means of an outstandingly skillful move that left almost all PAOK players behind.
In the remaining 3 minutes, nothing changed, marking the perfect end for our Legend’s row of 3 consecutive difficult fixtures that brought our side with a 6-point lead over PAOK in the Superleague table!
